Corporate events
For companies that want something other than a conference hotel.
Each occasion carries its own weight.
Use cases
A downtown room that isn't a hotel ballroom. The same space holds an annual party, a product launch, an offsite, a client dinner, and the holiday party — each one read differently.
Annual parties
A room that turns the evening from routine into memory.
Product launches
A downtown location with presentation staging, space for 150, and full technical kit.
Offsites and strategy days
A real day for your team, free of the hotel atmosphere.
Client dinners
Seated dinners for up to 85, catering arranged on request.
Milestone days
Holiday gatherings, company birthdays, launches.
Everything you need lives in the room.

Setup and breakdown
Last December — the annual party of a 70-person Reykjavík fintech. A three-course dinner from seven until one. Wild mushroom soup over candlelight, beef tenderloin across long tables, cheesecake and a dance floor that held to the last song. A week later their HR lead wrote to say the room had felt like theirs for the night.

Questions from companies
Kornhlaðan seats up to 85 guests for a full sit-down dinner and holds up to 150 for a standing reception, mixed format, or presentation. Long rectangular tables suit groups of 60–85; for 90–150 we combine a seated zone with high tops and a reception area, or move to a buffet layout with lounge seating. Every configuration is set up and broken down by our team.
For annual parties (árshátíð) between October and February, most companies book four to six months in advance — the peak Friday and Saturday nights fill first. Offsites, product launches, and weekday corporate events can usually be arranged with three to six weeks' notice, depending on availability. The earlier your inquiry, the more flexibility you have with dates. Your booking is confirmed once we receive a signed agreement and deposit.
Yes — Kornhlaðan is built for branded corporate events. The venue supports on-site signage, printed table collateral, projected logos and keynote slides, branded napkins, custom welcome pieces, and a stage area for launches and announcements. Our team helps place and brief everything on the day, and removes it cleanly after. For larger fabrication (step-and-repeat walls, LED, custom lighting) we coordinate with trusted production partners.
