Yes. Kornhlaðan is designed for it. The room transitions from ceremony to reception to seated dinner to dancing without your guests ever leaving the building. Lighting and sound are reset between phases by our staff. For a Reykjavík wedding — particularly in winter — keeping everyone under one roof is the single biggest reason the day flows.
Yes. Full-day buyouts are how most weddings here are booked — typically from late morning for setup through to the after-party. Our in-house kitchen handles canapés through three-course seated dinners, and we work with a short list of trusted Reykjavík florists, officiants, photographers, and musicians we can introduce you to.
